Apple just announced the iPhone 4S and it await exactly the same as the iPhone 4 ! Does that mean it ’s plagued by theiPhone 4 ’s ill-famed fading trouble ? No , not anymore . This time around , they fixed the antenna .
What did they do ? According to Phil Schiller , there are now two antennas on the iPhone 4S and their engineering team built a organisation where the iPhone “ can now intelligently switch between two antennas ” for even better call quality . That ’s never been done in a phone before , apparently . And I ’m hopeful that it means the attenuation problems of yore are gone gone .
