I call my socket set Voltron . Not because I enjoy the show ( I do ! ) but because my current socket solidification is comprised of my five late sets — I lose sockets invariably . But with the B&D ReadyWrench it ’s a physical impossibility .

You ’re not gon na lose sockets , primarily because the individual sockets are welded together into a empty cube that seat at the either end of the wrench and spread out when you ’re selecting a size . It covers the most common size , 8mm-19 millimeter . What ’s really cool is that each socket act for measured and its royal twin , so the 8 mm also fit 5/16″. That intend I ’ve got basically 16 unlosable socket at my beck and call . It ’s also solid — it does n’t feel like it ’d break it if I whanged on a rust bolt or two .

There ’s no fashion to lock the take socket in the down situation , so the twist will wobble slightly as you turn it , which make it elusive to really torque down on a stubborn deadbolt . Also the direction selector is a bit fussy — sometimes you could flick back and away with ease , sometimes it ’ll just push the whole chemical mechanism around .
