Boeing , one of the human race ’s largest aircraft manufacturers , has been in the word a deal lately but not in a unspoilt way . refuge incidents involving the company ’s plane keep cropping up and this workweek bring yet another example of that inauspicious style . On Thursday , an Atlas Air 747 cargo planewas forced to make an emergency landingin Florida after one of its engines break open into flames .
The plane , which took off from Miami en route to Puerto Rico , suffered the direful malfunction shortly after takeoff . Video footage of the problem was captivate by onlookers and share wide on societal media . In the picture , the aeroplane can be seen streaking across the sky , visibly on ardor , while the someone taking the video yells : “ Oh my god it ’s on fervor ! ”

What caused the mid - air conflagration ? It ’s unclear the right way now , though Reutersreportsthat , during a post - flight review cognitive operation , a “ softball - sizing hole ” was discovered above the cunning ’s engine . Boeing has been in deep trouble ever since January 8 , when anunfortunate Alaska Airlines flightwas interrupted by a sudden rupture to its hull .
