Smallville ’s 9th time of year wreak on the forged guy wire that rooter have been waiting for for years now : General Zod . Except , as actor Callum Blue told us at Comic - Con , the Zod we ’re about to meet is n’t necessarily the Zod we expect .

Blue was full of teases and analysis about his Major Zod – there ’s a meter - travel constituent to the fictitious character ’s appearance in the show – but said that , for all his complexness , he ’s a very dewy-eyed man :
