Gizmodo speak with Fight for the Future ’s campaign director , Evan Greer about the place and she explained to us that the “ name for the site is just a canny play on word and is clearly intend to present the telecommunication industry broadly . ” The group ’s statement also aver that the “ claim are legally baseless , since the site is intelligibly a manikin of First Amendment protect political address and makes no attempt to pose Comcast . ”

We reached out to Comcast for comment but no one has gotten back to us at the time of publishing . A voice did reply toArs Technicaand they had this to say :

Argentina’s President Javier Milei (left) and Robert F. Kennedy Jr., holding a chainsaw in a photo posted to Kennedy’s X account on May 27. 2025.

Like most major brand owners , Comcast protects our troupe and brand names from being used improperly on the Internet by third company . We use an established external vendor to monitor for websites that use our name and brand without authorisation , and the vender routinely transmit out poster to those sites . That is what happened here . This particular situation also raise other sound issues supporting further investigation ( for example , the land site appears to pull together personal information and has no posted concealment policy ) . After review the site further , we do not project extra action at this time .

So , it took less than 24 hours for the company to decide that this move is not a sound look . In reaction to the Comcast ’s accusal about information gathering and the deficiency of privacy insurance policy .

“ This is patently false , ” Greer tell Gizmodo . “ The search map on the site does not call for any personal selective information . If you press ‘ touch Your Attorney General ’ it assume you to a standard petition class , which does collect data , and there is a seclusion policy clearly link up there . ”

Comcast ’s spokesperson also lend that the company substantiate net neutrality but “ Title II does not equal nett neutrality . ”

“ Comcast is lying , ” Greer say . “ They want to be able to agitate site fee to reach an audience , and squeeze all of us for more money . When they say they sustain net neutrality but oppose Title II , it ’s like they ’re saying they indorse free speech but react the First Amendment . The courts have been extremely clear that Title II is the only legally sound way to implement final neutrality and ban throttling , block , and paid prioritization . ”
