With only markers and index cards, Erbert, 29, gifted her husband aValentine’s Dayfull of surprises. The dancer chronicled the day in a funInstagram videothat showed Hough, 38, choosing between two cards turned the opposite way around to determine their holiday outfits, dinner, activities, and more.
The video begins with Hough choosing their breakfast location and morning attire. After they go out for breakfast in casual clothing, he selects a walk in the park and shopping for their afternoon activity.
Their day ends with a dinner outing and watching their wedding video in matching sweaters.
Erbert explained that she wanted to have a day that focused on “intention” amid her ongoing recovery afterher emergency craniectomyand follow-up surgeryfor a cranial hematomain December 2023,
“Made a fun little date day adventure for Valentine’s Day! Derek and I always spend a lot of time together, and even more so over the past few months.. But I really wanted to focus on the intention and meaning of the day — spending quality time with my husband (I’m still not really used to saying it 🫠) and being grateful for the unique and special love we share. ♥️,” Erbert captioned the post.

Fans gushed about their relationship in the comment section. One wrote, “ForgetTravis [Kelce]andTaylor [Swift]! This is the couple I’m invested in ❤️❤️.” Another commented, “This is SO beautiful! The two of you are SO beautiful! Plus, I’m totally going to steal your idea…..hahaha!”
The video followedErbert’s post on Wednesdaywhich showcased multiple photos of important moments fromthe start of their relationship in 2015.
The twowed in an outdoor ceremony in Monterey County, California,in August 2023, with approximately 106 guests.

Earlier this week, Hough toldEntertainment Tonightthat he isin “awe” of his wife’s resilience these past few months.
“She’s unbelievable. When I married her, I knew she was strong, but I really didn’t realize how strong she really was until now. I’m just, I really am in awe of her everyday. She’s incredible. She really is a miracle and I don’t really throw that word around lightly, but she really is,” he said.

TheDancing with the Starsjudge willresume his Symphony of Dance Tour on April 16in Tampa, Florida. It’s unclear if Erbert, a featured dancer, will join the tour due to her ongoing recovery.
