Apparently , no one fights like Gaston behind the scenes too . Theupcoming Disney+ Beauty and the Beast spinoff showstarring Luke Evans and Josh Gad as Gaston and LeFou has been put on hold due to time lag regarding “ creative elements and scheduling challenge . ”

Apparently , Disney still hopes to make the show ; it ’s just not happening correctly now . “ woefully , ‘ Tis true,”Josh Gad corroborate on Twitter . “ We tried to make it all work but under the gas pedal it was n’t meant to be … for now . These characters and this story will live on , but sometimes the beneficial purpose & realism collide & nothing can be done . ”

So what ’s this all mean ? Well , plain , production was eyeball up a spring shoot in Europe — but then , in hopes of getting even better weather , delayed to summertime . Even with the delay though the show was still probable to shin to be ready , and members of the stamp get to be given into scheduling struggle with other projects . At which point in time , or else of pushing ahead and rolling the dice , Disney just stopped it . “ But … we truly hope we get to make it when our schedule take into account , ” Gad added .

What ’s most surprising about this is n’t that female parent nature and the schedule had other plans for this show . It ’s that it bump so quickly . Ora would have bring together Hawkeye ’s Fra Fee and Tick Tick Boom ’s Jelani Alladin in the mould . But now , with the uncertain timeline , there ’s a chance all of those roles , or at least some , will have to be recast . We were really singular about this one — but it ’s definitely best not to rush something out before it ’s ready .
