After two very fast episodes , Dominion slacken down to do a little character piece of work , and sing about pud . Angels like pudding . It ’s prescribed : I really like this weird backer show . spoiler ahead …
Okay , so after the big reveal that angels look like humans now — and then the additional reveal that angels are in Vega — the council is ( understandably ) freak out the fuck out .
King Lion is all up in Michael ’s face , hissing and charge him of being an angel loyalist . But that ’s just crazy lecture , because the smart scientist Senator Thorne ( who has n’t had much to do since her debauch with Michael ) points out that Michael is really General Riesen ’s asset , and the Whele house just need everything Riesen has . * shrugs *
Meanwhile , in a distant diner in the middle of the desert that plainly does n’t fear being totally unprotected from angels , the small Whele brat meets with Gabriel . And we chance out that Gabriel just have a go at it the hell on earth out of pudding .
It ’s adorable and altogether cartoony , from the writing to the acting — and that ’s okay . I want this . If you ’re extend to make me pretend that Vegas basically exists like a chivalric province , then you ’re go to have to give me some mugging angels bust heads and corrode pudding .
Back in Vega , Michael heads to what I ’m assuming was once the vestibule / gambling trading floor of Caesar ’s Palace , and which is now every single market you ’ve ever seen from every post - apocalyptic film of motion-picture show … and see ANOTHER ANGEL ! Quelle surprise ! There , the two totally act normal and no one will ever question their very normal shopping central that was normal . Also Michael fundamentally reveals that he ’s known that there are angels dissemble to be humans in Vega all along . He even knew “ Felecia ” who set on Alex last week . LIAR !
That was probably the biggest reveal , other than Alex ’s mom so clearly not being idle . There are good saint that live in Vega , under Michael ’s protective covering . And there ’s absolutely no way that ’s not going to blow up in his beautiful , emotionless cheek . When this fact is whipped out into the open , you could bet Team Lion is go to flay that beautiful , stoical creature on the chief phase of the next jubilee .
And even though I ’m biz for the uncanny Modern rituals , pretending not to know that Ralph Lauren was — or the fact that ten eld after an exotic war two people decided to reinstate the feudal system by adapting the logos of very pop hotels — I ’m a bit lost on the acolytes . This is where Dominion is almost too wacky , even for me . These people adjoin in secret , but still manage to drum up all those candles , a banner , costumes and a wicked initiation procedure . Baloney ! There ’s no room these guy would n’t get caught . peculiarly pal up around with the Prince of MGM Hotel .
But none of that matter right now , because the rest of the episode is primarily about Alex and his rash decision to get the F out of Vega . You see , Alex is not address his new status as “ the choose one ” very well . So instead of cling around and getting everyone he loves killed , he lead out into the abysm .
This pass water off Michael vastly , and the Angel Falls wing out to stop him , finally catching up and requesting that he make “ one hitch ” before he goes . That stop , no surprisal , is Alex ’s childhood dwelling house . There Michael rise on and cry about the death of Alex ’s mother . And how she die in the tubful holding Alex , protect him from some 8 - orchis fire . After Alex ’s dad took his female parent off to bury her alone , Michael imprinted on Alex or something , and vow to protect him forever . Also , Michael is the chosen one that will stop the angel war … so .
The only thing I got from this was that Alex ’s female parent is so clearly not numb .
actuate on , that angel with the red-faced contacts shows up and poke Michael and now they have to go BACK to Vega — womp womp .
In other parts of Vega the woman that poisoned all of her servant ladies is plainly still fairly pivotal to the patch . She ’s position free , but her wife sends a loge with her dead sister in it , so uh oh ! Whele gives her sanctuary in Vega , in interchange for her hope that when she take over the townsfolk she ’s from , they give Vega their tune force . Annnnnd the Prince of MGM and the Princess of Caesar ’s Palace are getting espouse so that General Riesen will kibosh shake off people in clink .
And that ’s that . I liked the slower tread of this episode , which gave us a probability to get to know everyone . I ’m still hooked on this , and very concerned in what ’s proceed to encounter next . I ’m just beaming Syfy give this weird show a chance .
