Europe and the USA have link up forces to bring the world some beautiful images of aloof galaxies . The image above , of theWhirlpool Galaxy , M51 , fuse pictures from the European Space Agency ’s Herschel space observatory and the Hubble telescope .
The Hubble telescope can take flick in the visible spectrum , and the Herschel telescope can take shrill pictures in the infrared wavelength . The merge images are high resolution and can show raw detail about the object they seize . Here , the red glob are bed areas of principal geological formation .
