The gismo : The EyeClops Mini Projector . It projects South Dakota subject matter up to 60 inches across . Yeah , it ’s technically a toy , but historically , EyeClops make some coolheaded stuff .
The Price : $ 100 , gaudy !
The Verdict : At age 27 , I may be a successful convenience writer with a decent BS filter . But on the face of it , I still get suckered by the cheap promise of a fresh children ’s toy . It ’s in the DNA , I guess .

I went into this reappraisal with very low expectations . If the $ 100 miniature could produce an simulacrum of even nominal quality , I ’d be gush over it . Unfortunately , it ’s just not capable enough to ever become fun .
Daytime showing is plainly not befall — not a complete surprise , given that smartness is the number one fall of any projector . But the EyeClops ’ LED ca n’t skip through even the thin inklings of stray ignitor … except at a stroke length of about a foot off when the screen is tiny .
At night , the CRT screen may be bright , but it ’s still not something you ’d want your tiddler watch over . At a sizing of about 46 inches , it was unsufferable to retrieve any kind of decisive stress . And the picture below makes the paradigm look a stack more contrasty than it in reality was .

The surprise ? The EyeClops loudspeaker is loud and very readable . At max volume , you’re able to get a line the thing in the next elbow room . So theoretically , the projector could replace a TV without the need for some extra speaker solution . Theoretically .
Products like the EyeClops Bionic Eye and Night Vision Goggles are both highly regarded technical school toys for children — and both are quite a morsel cheap than this projector . Go with one of those option and wait for mini ejection applied science in general to catch up .
Can engage on four 500 batteries with larger base … no lithium ion ?

Poor character in the daytime
Only slimly better quality at Nox
