Last year , Lion Forge Comics launch Catalyst Prime , a new , diverse world of mirthful volume superheroes . Now it ’s getting a roll shake - up , and the novel soul in billing of it all is none other than comics ikon Gail Simone .
Ahead of Simone ’s appearance at a Lion Forge trailer panel at San Diego Comic - Con this week , the company has officially announced throughThe Hollywood Reporterthat Simone will process as the originative lead and “ chief architect ” of the publishing firm ’s Catalyst Prime line , shaping the future of its foreign mission to create diverse fresh superheroes that think over the ever growing and interchange makeup of audiences that say superhero comics .
While there ’s no word on if Simone will be writing any of the Catalyst Bible as part of this Modern position , Lion Forge also announced a launch of a new comedian coming to the line this fall : Quincredible , a story from writer / creative person squad Rodney Barnes and Selina Espiritu about a young teenager with impregnability powers . While the series had been schedule to launch next calendar month , it will now debut in November under Simone ’s new tenure .
It ’s an interesting move for Simone , but the thought of an entire roll of comics guided by her imagination is a great one . Catalyst Prime will likely have more reveals related to Simone ’s Modern direction for the line at Lion Forge ’s Fall Preview panel at San Diego Comic - Con , on Sunday , July 21 .
