The couple’s outing came the same day as the news that Chapman’s ex-husband, disgraced film producerHarvey Weinstein, had beenhospitalized following an “alarming blood test result,“as his legal team and spokesperson told PEOPLE on Monday in separate statements.
Weinstein, 72, was rushed to Bellevue Hospital in Manhattan for “emergent treatment” and was expected to remain until his condition stabilized, according to his attorney Imran H. Ansari, who alleged medical mistreatment at the hands of N.Y.C. jail staff at Rikers Island.
Weinstein, who is awaiting retrial on sex crimes charges after his New York conviction was overturned, wasdiagnosed with leukemia in October.
Chapman and Weinstein’sdivorce was finalizedin July 2021, nearly four yearsafter they splitfollowing close to a decade of marriage.
