It ’s now 2020 . The Earth is inundate by tech . Everything we do , everything we touch on , is file in triplicate in some database somewhere . Our gadgets talk to our cars and our car will presently babble out to a central host in the sky . There used to be a XII phones launching every class . Now there are about two .

My aims here are to expand our coverage , build out amazing video and podcasts , and give you more of what you love .
When I get down at Gizmodo , the New York Times gave “ gadgets ” one page once a week on the back of the Sports section . Now the entire paper – and almost every other news administration – is drowning in tech coverage . But Gizmodo was there first and this situation has steered innovation for nearly two decades . I intend to keep that berth .
Our world is currently in upheaval . thing are changing drastically in agency that we scarcely understand . I require to help us all capture this moment with clarity , preciseness , and fun . I care about everything , from complex board games to mobility to startups to robotic dogs on Mars . Why ? Because that ’s all the basic principle upon which we ’re build the future .
