Jodie Turner-Smith (nearly) bared it all on the red carpet onOscarsnight.

On Sunday, theSex Educationactress, 37, took to the red carpet at theVanity FairOscar Party in Beverly Hills, California, scantily clad in a black Gucci dress with a high slit and low neckline.

Along with the floor-length backless dress, Turner-Smith wore stiletto Christian Louboutin heels and jewels from Pasquale Bruni. Abandoning her usual natural dark buzz cut, she instead showed off a new blonde look with soft waves, finishing off her outfit with a glossy makeup look.

This look that theQueen and Slimstar showed off after the96th annual Academy Awardsmarks one of the first times that Turner-Smith has hit the red carpet afterfiling for divorce from Joshua Jackson, 45, in October after four years of marriage.

Since filing, Turner-Smith has been mostly quiet about their split. However, in a February interview withThe Times,she said that shedidn’t consider their marriage to be “a failure”and instead spoke about choosing what’s best for herself.

“Sometimes things we really want to work just don’t end up working,” the British star said. “And that’s OK. The most important thing is that you choose what’s healthiest for you and your family and definitely your children.”

She added that people should take time in their lives to ask if they are being true to themselves.

“If the answer is no, then you have to make a move because I believe that there are visible scars from staying in places that are not good for us. And they don’t just affect us, they affect everybody around us,” she said.

“I don’t think it’s a failure,” she continued, speaking of her marriage to Jackson. “We obviously had such a beautiful moment together. And now it’s time for a new moment for both of us. And how exciting!”

Jackson and Turner-Smith first met whenhe caught her eyeatUsher’sbirthday party in November 2018, and a whirlwind romance began.
