Her trademark “Bodyshred” routine combines movements from mixed martial arts, Pilates, gymnastics and yoga to create a high-intensity, fat-burning workout.
And while the term “high-intensity” may scare some people, Michaels says that it shouldn’t.
“Everyone can do a high-intensity workout, because what it means is simply going atyourpersonal fitness peak, whatever level that is,” explains the star trainer.
Want to train like Michaels? Try these moves:

Split Jump
2.Jump as high as you can, driving left knee and right arm forward and up, right heel toward your butt and left arm back.
3.Land in start position.
4.Continue for 30 seconds.
5.Switch sides and repeat.

Bridge Reach
2.Lift hips so that body forms a line from shoulders to knees to start.
3.Reach right arm up and back, pressing palm into floor at a diagonal.
4.Return to start position and repeat with left arm.
5.Extend right leg at a diagonal, pressing outside of foot into floor.
6.Repeat with left leg.
7.Continue alternating sides of arms and legs for 30 seconds.

Warrior III Angel
2.Hinge forward from hips to lower torso until it’s parallel to floor, raising left leg back and up so that body forms a T to start.
3.Extend arms forward and rotate palms to face up so that pinky fingers touch.
4.Scoop straight arms around the back and rotate hands until thumbs touch above low back.
5.Return to start position.
6.Continue for 30 seconds.
7.Switch sides and repeat.
