Swifties are spotting some pretty striking similarities betweenTaylor SwiftandTravis Kelce’s “Love Story” andHigh School Musical, which was not lost onVanessa Hudgens.
A user on X (formerly known as Twitter) recently compared Swift and Kelce’s relationship to the plot of the Disney Channel franchise.
“The chiefs game and the golden globes being within hours of each other reminds me when Troy and Gabriella had the basketball game and the academic decathlon at the same time as the audition for the school musical,” X user @TheLuckyMia tweeted on Jan. 7.

Swift, 34, could be seen in the stands rooting for her Kansas City Chiefs boyfriend Kelce, 34, on game days during the 2023 season. However, on Jan. 7, the “Blank Space” singer skipped Kelce’s matchup against the Las Vegas Raiders to attend the 81st Golden Globe Awards, where herTaylor Swift: The Eras Tourfilm was nominated for cinematic and box office achievement.
The tweet caught Hudgens' attention on Instagram last week. “Hilarious,” the 35-year-old commented on anEntertainment Tonight post.

High School Musicaldebuted on the Disney Channel in 2006 and followed Gabriella Montez (Hudgens), a nerdy beauty, and her love interest, athlete Troy Bolton (Zac Efron).

It seems that life imitates art, because both Swift and Hudgens are happily in relationships with star athletes.
Hudgens recently tied the knot with her Major League Baseball beauCole Tucker, whoreportedly signeda minor league contract with the Seattle Mariners.

She previously revealed that the two met on a Zoom call during the pandemic, and she later sent him a private message.

As for Swift, when she was namedTime’s 2023 Person of the Yearin December, she revealed that she and Kelce began dating before October 2023.
“I think some people think that they saw our first date at that game? We would never be psychotic enough to hard launch a first date,” Swift said.
